A complaint has been filed against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Malik Tariq Awan for allegedly torturing a servant at the guest house of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) MNA Asif Khan in Peshawar, which is endorsed by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
According to police, the case was filed against the PML-N MPA on behalf of Asif’s servant on a number of counts, including terrorism.
The victim was tortured in the guest home by a group of twenty persons under the leadership of Awan, according to the first information report (FIR).
According to MNA Asif’s report, which accuses Awan of attacking, at least five people have been taken into custody, according to police.
Superintendent of Police Faqeerabad Usama Amin Cheema, however, asserted that there was not a single shooting incident during the entire affair.
