Derrick White scored 25 points, including seven three-pointers, and Brown added 32 as the Boston Celtics defeated the Lakers 120-95.
In pursuit of a record 18th NBA title are the Celtics.
“It starts with defence, we wanted to set the tone on defence and we kept them under 100,” Brown stated.
“But we feel like we’ve got an answer for everything so we just play the game the right way.”
For the most of the match, Boston was in total control and led by double digits at the break.
Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers in scoring with 33 points, followed by Evan Mobley with 17 and Darius Garland with 14.
