From one former heavyweight champion to another, Deontay Wilder worries that Mike Tyson, 57, may suffer a convulsion following his battle with Jake Paul.
Everyone was shocked when Tyson made the decision on July 20 to take on Paul in a professional match that had been commissioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
Although the fight that was first supposed to be an exhibition has become much anticipated, according to Wilder, nobody actually gives a damn about Tyson’s welfare.
In an interview with Sportsbook Review, Wilder stated, “I think it’s bad that the commission licensed Mike Tyson because he hasn’t been active in 20 years. They shouldn’t just license him because of who he is, because that’s how people get hurt – God forbid he gets hurt.”
