PM Shehbaz said in a statement that the Youm-e-Takbeer served as a reminder to the Pakistani people to be united in order to fortify their nation’s defense.
According to the prime minister, the country as a whole decided on this day to protect its integrity and would not compromise on its defense by caving in to outside pressure.
He continued, “To strengthen the defense of this country, the Youm-e-Takbeer reminds political and defense forces to unite under one flag, the green crescent flag.”
The prime minister added that Youm-e-Takbeer is a day to honor previous prime minister Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Army for creating an unbeatable defense for Pakistan.
