RAWALPINDI: Sources told News that on Monday, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) searched the Bahria Town office in Rawalpindi “in connection with Al-Qadir Trust University case.”
According to the reports, the raid was carried out by the anti-corruption watchdog team at the Rawalpindi office of Bahria Town in order to “search for records of Al-Qadir Trust University.”
It also turned out that the teams from the Punjab police and elite force participated in the raid.
It is important to note that Al-Qadir Trust University is associated with a well-known case that resulted in the £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement reference for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated.
In response to the raid, Malik Riaz Hussain, the chairman of Bahria Town, declared on X, formerly Twitter, that he would endure all difficulties and would not turn into “an approver”.
