Actor Zachary Quinto of “Star Trek” received criticism for his actions in a Toronto restaurant over the weekend.
While dining at their restaurant on Sunday, Manita on Ossington Avenue called the star a “entitled child” on Instagram.
They started their statement with, “Zachary Quinto-an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer,” alluding to his character from “Star Trek.”
“Yelled at staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for,” the message went on to say.

“Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable,” they kept saying.
The remark, which was posted on the restaurant’s Instagram story, said, “Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else. We have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita, but you are not one of them.” They also tagged Quinto’s Instagram account.
On Monday, the restaurant located in Toronto reiterated their initial statement and posted a follow-up message on social media.
