Defensor Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth has agreed to a five-year contract extension with Newcastle United.
In 2019, the 25-year-old made a £13 million transfer from Bristol City to Bournemouth under the direction of current Magpies manager Eddie Howe.
Kelly, who can play left back or left center-half, gives Howe more defensive options after Tosin Adarabioyo, who chose to sign with Chelsea instead of Fulham, escaped Newcastle.
Kelly played for Bournemouth for 25 games the previous year. His lone FA Cup goal came against Swansea.
Kelly, a defender, will join Newcastle United on a free transfer.
