White revealed two more bouts: Alex Pereira, the Brazilian light-heavyweight champion, will defend his title against the match.
The new co-main event is a featherweight match between Diego Lopes of Brazil and American Brian Ortega.
The UFC’s biggest event of the year usually takes place during fight week in Las Vegas.
When the bout between McGregor and Chandler was announced on May 24, tickets were sold out in less than ten minutes.
Despite American Chandler, 36, continuing to train and the UFC’s TV partners continuing to promote the bout, the UFC “postponed” a news conference scheduled for Dublin this month.
The much awaited welterweight match between British fighter Michael “Venom” Page and Irishman Ian Garry is still scheduled.
