On the occasion of Eid ul Azha, Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman has directed deputy commissioners to make sure that extra measures are taken for cleanliness and prompt rubbish clearance.
At the Civil Secretariat on Thursday, all divisional commissioners convened jointly virtually and received directives.
Zaman said that in the event of a complaint on an issue pertaining to Eid, the response time should not be longer than thirty minutes.
The secretary declared that the livestock markets offer all amenities required for the comfort of the public. He went on to say that an increased crackdown on the illicit cattle market was necessary for Eid.
The Punjab Chief Secretary declared that improvements to governance are being made with the Chief Minister’s direction.
