The national cricket team players’ monthly salary data have been made public by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Category B players are paid Rs3 million a month, while category A players are reportedly entitled to a salary of Rs4.5 million. Salaries in every category increased significantly under the most recent PCB contracts.
Players in category A had an astounding growth of 202%, while players in category B saw a significant gain of 144%. Players in categories C and D also experienced noteworthy increases of 135% and 127%, respectively.

Players are categorized according to how well they perform; the PCB issued new contracts in September of last year.Muhammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, and Babar Azam were put in category A and given monthly salaries of Rs4.5 million apiece. Players earning up to Rs3 million a month, such as Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah, fall under Category B.
