The most populous city of a country that had been suffering from extreme heat for a few days was spared the heatwave when a strong rainstorm hit Karachi, the port city.
Sarjani, Yusuf Goth and Khuda Ki Basti, Gulshan Iqbal, Kemari, Federal B Area, Gulshan-e-Mimar, New Karachi, Gadap, Gulshan Mimar, North Karachi, and other regions experienced the rainy spell. With the rainy spell that persisted into the afternoon, the weather became lovely.
The weather was nice due to heavy rain in various parts of Old City, Shaare-e-Faisal, Clifton, II Chundrigar Road, Hassan Square, Isa Nagri, PIB, and Jail Chowrangi.
Following a period of extreme heat, Jahangir Road and the Pakistan Highway in Karachi were shrouded in dark clouds.
