Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has recovered his form in the Lanka Premier League 2024 season, taking four wickets in back-to-back matches after struggling to collect a wicket in the recently finished T20 World Cup 2024.
This included his first-ever LPL 2024 hat-trick. He became the second bowler in LPL history to pick a hat-trick on Tuesday, following Wanindu Hasaranga.
He scored 20 off 17 with the blade while playing for the Colombo Strikers, who finished with 198 points. The Falcons, their rivals, lost that game by a score of 51 runs.
After bowling a 4 for 22 session against the Kandy Falcons at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka, he was named player of the match.
