Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan has once again called for an end to hostilities in Gaza following an attack on another school by Israel in the occupied territory.
Palestinian officials reported that an Israeli airstrike on a UN-run school in the strip resulted in about 16 fatalities and numerous injuries.
“It breaks my heart to witness another Israeli attack on a Gaza school. Yousafzai said on X, “We cannot turn a blind eye to breaches of international humanitarian law and ignore the deaths of innocent people.
“I reiterate the urgent call for a lasting ceasefire,” she said.
As Israel targets yet another Gaza school, Malala is horrified.
The health ministry said that thousands of displaced individuals were being housed at the building at the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
