According to the sources, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa chaired a special session of the 13-member full bench of the country’s top court, which was attended by every judge on the bench.
Following the meeting, the SC website released a cause list, which stated that CJP Isa and the entire bench will make an announcement.
the brief order on the SIC plea appealing the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) decision upholding the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) action to deny the parliamentarians backed by the PTI reserved seats in the assembly, which was rendered at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 12.
Following nine hearings on the SIC’s appeals, during which all parties, including the federal government and the ECP, submitted their views against the SIC’s plea, the supreme court reserved its decision on Tuesday.
