A major move has been taken by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to enhance the agricultural sector’s payment system in Pakistan. To automate payments for farmers, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked by JazzCash, Pakistan’s largest digital wallet, and renowned firm Fatima Fertilizer.
Through the provision of safe, dependable, and quick transactions, this partnership seeks to economically empower farmers—particularly those who lack access to local banks. Through the Sarsabz Pakistan Farmer App, digital payments would be made possible thanks to the cooperation.
