American passengers are encouraged by the US Embassy in Lebanon to keep a close eye on the status of their flights because there may be changes, and to make other arrangements if necessary. In view of the intricate and quickly changing security landscape in Lebanon, the embassy advised US nationals to reevaluate their travel arrangements and sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) in order to receive updates and emergency assistance.
