LAHORE: After receiving Rs. 500,000 in financial aid from the Punjab government to replace his possessions, a German visitor to Pakistan described the nation as his “most favourite” destination. The incident occurred a few days after he was mugged in the provincial capital close to Allama Iqbal International Airport.
German national Berg Florian, 27, is currently in Pakistan.
He was camping close to the airport when the robbery happened while he was asleep by the side of the road.
Florian rode a bicycle from Central Asia to China and then to Pakistan. His 30-day visitation visa allowed him to enter Pakistan until September 11.

On behalf of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Punjab Home Secretary Noor-ul-Amin Mengal visited the distraught German national on Monday and gave him the money.Amin stated that the government was taking steps to ensure tourist security and protection and that police were attempting to find those who had robbed the traveler of his possessions.
