“I suffer from a really bad sickness. In the best case, I have a year; in the worst, much less. It’s best not to think about it because it’s difficult to say for sure.”
Following a 42-year career in management, Eriksson was diagnosed with cancer “almost one year ago.” Due to health concerns, he resigned from his most recent position as sporting director at Swedish club Karlstad 11 months ago.
Eriksson said, I live a totally normal life.
