Day four of play was cut short by rain on Monday after Bangladesh defeated Pakistan 42/0 in the second Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium despite needing to reach 185.
In the chase for runs, Zakir Hasan has been the more aggressive player, scoring 31 off 23 balls, while Shadman Islam has scored 9*. Bangladesh must score an additional 143 runs to win both the series and the second Test.
Earlier, pacers Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana caused mayhem by taking five and four wickets, respectively, to help Bangladesh bowl out Pakistan for 172.
With the addition of 38 runs, the hosts got off to a respectable start on 9/2 thanks to Saim Ayub and captain Shan Masood.
First to go was Ayub, who was replaced by Taskin Ahmed. He scored 20 runs off of 35.
