Another shock to Peshawar’s inflation-stricken populace came on Thursday when the cost of milk went up by Rs60 per liter.
Details indicate that the cost per liter of buffalo milk has gone up from Rs 180 to Rs 240. On the other hand, following the price hike, cow milk now costs Rs 200 per litre.
Yogurt had gone from costing Rs 30 per kilogram to Rs 220 per kg in the interim.
Yogurt in the first category was now priced at Rs 260 per kilogram.
