In order to maintain the party’s ranks together, Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, apparently consented to a significant internal reform.
Sources claim that Khan has accepted a plan to remove Barrister Gohar from his position as party chairman.
Asad Qaiser, a seasoned party veteran and former speaker of the National Assembly, is reportedly a top contender to succeed Gohar.
According to the sources, Qaiser has already received the message.
The sources asserted that the action is intended to settle disputes within the party.
