“What would you like? You want to go somewhere, sit in the same pew, and listen to the same things that don’t make any difference in your life. Alternatively, would you like to walk beside a living God who created everything, loves you, has a purpose for your life, and would utterly desire for you to have communion with Him? I have no interest in anything else.”
In her most trying moments, Gifford has drawn on her religion and relationship with God, stating, “I could have never made it” without it.
