Just now, Prince William and Kate Middleton received a warning about a major stressor that could affect Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, their three children.
The specialist who issued this caution is Laura Gwilt, a child and adolescent therapist with Swift Psychology.
“Moving is a significant stressor for children because it disrupts routines and predictability,” she was quoted as saying in an interview with Hello!
For those who are unaware, the Wales family will be relocating to Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom Grade II Georgian home in the gothic style situated within Windsor Great Park, which spans 4,800 acres.
She also cautioned, “Research indicates that even a single move during childhood can increase emotional stress, with effects like irritability, clinginess, or difficulty sleeping.”
