- ISLAMABAD Legislators who are currently abroad have been told by parliamentary leaders of the ruling coalition to return to the nation by October 15, according to reports.
- This occurs as political parties are actively participating in public discussions and consultations for the 26th constitutional amendment, which is currently being reviewed.
- Currently, a large number of senators and National Assembly (MNA) members are absent from Pakistan; sources indicated that over ten MPs from the ruling coalition are abroad. Two of the MNAs are the experienced Syed Khursheed Shah of the People’s Party and Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry of the PML-N. Additionally on official tours abroad are Senators Abdul Qadir, Dinesh Kumar of the BAP, Hussain Illahi of the PML-Q, and Senator Rana Mehmood ul Hassan of the People’s Party.
