An explosion at a border cab stand in Chaman city, Balochistan, on Wednesday claimed the lives of at least five persons and injured three more.
According to the assistant commissioner for the area, the explosion happened when explosives concealed in the luggage of passengers detonated at the crowded station.
The injured and dead were taken right away to the hospital at District Headquarters (DHQ).
An investigation into the incident has been launched by the government of Balochistan.
Soon after the explosion, security personnel surrounded the area, according to the Home Department, and authorities are looking into the attack’s nature and motivations.
