While stating that it is too soon to discuss the likelihood of other nations joining the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia security pact, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif emphasized that “the door has not been closed” on the prospect.
In an interview on the Geo News program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath,” the defense czar stated, “It is too early to speak of other countries joining the agreement, the door has not been closed.”
In a historic Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement, Islamabad and Riyadh agreed to see any aggression against one nation as an attack on both.
