KARACHI: With a potential cyclone in the North Arabian Sea predicted, parts of Karachi experienced sporadic moderate to heavy rainfall on Tuesday.
Liaquatabad, Federal B Area, II Chundrigar Road, Saddar, and other locations have recorded moderate to heavy rainfall.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Karachi received the most rainfall (8.8 mm), followed by PAF Faisal Base (7 mm).
It further stated that the rainfall at Jinnah Terminal was 4.4 mm, Keamari 3.5 mm, and Airport Old Area 2.6 mm.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds for the city today, which coincides with the showers.
