ISLAMABAD: The price of gasoline will rise by Rs4.07 per litre for the next two weeks, until October 15, according to the federal government.
The Finance Division announced that the updated pricing are based on suggestions made by the relevant ministries and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra).
The most recent rise has raised the price of petrol from Rs264.31 to Rs268.68 per litre. According to the announcement, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was also increased by Rs4.04, from Rs272.77 per litre to Rs276. 18.

The government maintained petrol prices at Rs264.61 for the past two weeks. The cost of diesel, however, was up by Rs2.78 per litre.
