In a forceful refutation of recent allegations making the rounds in Indian media, Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), denied expressing regret to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the Asia Cup trophy presentation controversy.
Speaking out against what he described as “fabricated, nonsense and cheap propaganda,” Naqvi, who is also the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, claimed that Indian media is giving false information precedence over accurate information.
“This fabricated nonsense is nothing but cheap propaganda, aimed only at misleading their own people,” he wrote in a post on X.
The ACC chairman went on to say, “I have never apologized to the BCCI and I will never apologize. I have done nothing wrong.”
