The Super Bowl halftime show rumors have been politely addressed by Taylor Swift.
The 35-year-old pop sensation denied reports that she turned down the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl during an appearance on the most recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
“No,” Taylor said in response to Jimmy’s question regarding “rumors that she declined the Super Bowl because of performance footage.”
“Here’s the thing,” said the singer of The Life of a Showgirl. “I’ve always had great treatment from Jay Z. Our groups are quite close. Sometimes they will phone and ask her how she feels about something, but it isn’t a formal offer or a conference call.
