The final warning for Cyclone Shakti has been issued by the Cyclone Warning Center of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Details that surfaced on Tuesday indicate that the pressure system has been moving south-southeast over the past six hours. At the moment, the cyclone is about 940 kilometers southwest of Karachi. The cyclone has subsided to a region of low pressure.
After moving east-southeast, it will continue to wane. Tomorrow is when fishermen in Sindh and Balochistan can start fishing again.
Severe Cyclone Shakti has already deteriorated into a regular cyclone, according to the PMD Tropical Cyclone Warning Center, which issued its eleventh advisory earlier on Monday.
