Millie Bobby Brown, known for her sharp detective skills in Enola Holmes, recently revealed she uncovered the ending of Stranger Things before anyone else in the cast. Interestingly, she didn’t find out the finale through the usual channels.
During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on December 7, Millie explained that the cast had no idea what to expect ahead of the final season’s table read. Almost everyone, that is—except her.
“I didn’t really know how I was going to react,” she said, reflecting on the suspense of the moment.
So, how did she figure it out? Millie humorously admitted she likes “blackmailing the directors,” but her secret was much simpler. She quietly slipped into the writers’ room and discovered a large whiteboard detailing every major plot point for the finale.
“I snuck into the writers’ room and I saw this really big whiteboard with all of the endings on it,” she shared. “And I was like, ‘Ahh, so much to process!’”
Despite knowing the ending beforehand, the actual table read was an emotional experience. The cast didn’t use the traditional table setup, opting instead for a more intimate arrangement on couches. The heartfelt scenes and revelations led them to cry together for nearly two hours.
With Stranger Things moving toward its final chapter, fans can expect an emotional and memorable conclusion. Millie’s story highlights not only her curiosity but also the intensity and dedication of the cast as they prepare for the series finale.
