Fans of Manifest will soon see a familiar pairing back on screen. Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh are reuniting, this time on NBC’s crime drama The Hunting Party.
Roxburgh continues her role in season two as Rebecca Bex Henderson, a former FBI profiler leading a special task force. The team is responsible for tracking down violent criminals who have escaped from a secret government prison known as The Pit.
Dallas will appear as a guest star in episode eight. He plays Elliot Carr, also known as the Connecticut Cobbler, a deeply disturbing serial killer. Carr is described as a skilled and wealthy shoe designer who creates custom footwear using rare materials. His victims are skinned alive so their skin can be turned into shoes.
With Carr now free, Bex and her team must stop him before he strikes again. This time, his crimes follow a new and more twisted pattern.
The Hunting Party also features Nick Wechsler, Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie, and Sara Garcia. Season two will include additional guest appearances from Eric McCormack, Kelsey Grammer, Jefferson White, and Elizabeth Gillies.
Dallas and Roxburgh previously starred together for four seasons on Manifest, where they played siblings Ben and Michaela Stone. The first three seasons aired on NBC, while the final season was released on Netflix.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in the past, Dallas reflected on the emotional ending of Manifest. He shared that the final read through and filming days were overwhelming, filled with tears and deep emotion. He described it as the closing of a story and the end of a real life family formed over five years of working together.
Their reunion on The Hunting Party offers fans a darker and more intense version of seeing the duo together again.
