After conducting a number of intelligence-based operations in several places, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has successfully captured 12 terrorists.
According to a CTD spokeswoman, the operations were carried out in Sargodha, Bhakkar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad, with extra actions in Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Jhang.
Notably, two individuals from a prohibited group were taken into custody in Sargodha and Bhakkar.
The accused allegedly planned to carry out assaults and terrorize the population, and authorities reported recovering explosives and firearms from them.
