Due to Kendrick Lamar’s trash song “Not Like Us,” Drake has brought another lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG).
The One Dance hitmaker filed his second lawsuit in Texas on Tuesday, November 26, according to CBS News.
Among other things, the court docs asserted slander about Kendrick’s provocative song in which he calls Drake a p.
Not Like Us allegedly harmed Drake’s reputation by “falsely accusing him of being a s** offender, engaging in pedophilic acts, harbouring s** offenders, and committing other criminal s* acts,” according to a new complaint from the Hotline Bling singer’s attorneys.
Additionally, they claimed that the executives of the music company were aware that the song’s lyrics disparaged the singer’s “character” and had the option to “refuse to release” the diss track.
