Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister of planning, reaffirmed Pakistan’s government’s commitment to fostering closer relations with China on Friday.
In the course of Friday’s 13th Joint Coordination Committee meeting of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Islamabad, the minister underscored the growing investment between the two nations, a development he believed would strengthen bilateral relations.
Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a crucial project, noting the accomplishments of its first ten years.
The minister stated that work on the second phase of CPEC was ongoing in a number of areas, including the environment, education, energy, and economy.
Iqbal emphasized that the Belt and Road Initiative’s (BRI) flagship project, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), would further do it.
According to the minister, CPEC would strengthen the strong Pakistan-China relationship.
