Nita Ambani, the wife of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, once said that she continued to work after marrying Asia’s richest person, earning barely INR800 per month.
An old video of the Ambanis’ conversation with Indian actress and talk show host Simi Garewal has just surfaced, in which Nita claimed that she continued to work after marrying the chairman of Reliance Industries.
In the video, Nita stated that she began her professional career as a teacher at Sunflower Nursery within a year of marrying Mukesh in 1985, following a three-week romance.
Nita stated that she got paid INR800 per month, adding, “People used to laugh at me at the time, but I think it gave me a lot of satisfaction.
