Amir Mughal, the head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was placed under physical remand, but the police petition was denied by the Islamabad anti-terrorism court.
In the case of the attack on police officials, the Islamabad police brought Amir Mughal before the anti-terrorism court for a physical remand.
Mughal was sent to jail on judicial remand after Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain denied the petitioner’s request for physical remand.
A complaint was filed against PTI leader Amir Mughal under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) and the other six sections at the Karachi Company police station in Islamabad.
Amir Mughal, the head of the PTI, and twenty-five other people were charged with attacking police and CDA officials. However, police from the Islamabad central secretariat detained the PTI leader on Thursday.
Amir Mughal, the PTI leader, was placed in jail on judicial remand.
