General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his appointment as the country’s 24th chief executive.
After being sworn in as the country’s prime minister on Monday, PM Shehbaz and the army chief met for the first time at the prime minister’s house in Islamabad.
The duo discussed the army’s operational and security issues during the meeting.
