Reminiscing about his time spent filming The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Cole Sprouse said that he doesn’t recall much of it.
The Disney star, 31, who portrayed Cody Martin in the production, revealed that he remains in touch with his co-stars.
“I think when you spend eight years with a crew inside a soundstage, it’s kind of inevitable you guys become a little bit of a family,” Cody reportedly stated to OK! Magazine.
His remarks follow Kim Rhodes, who portrayed the mother of the twins, telling of the moment Dylan Sprouse resisted saying anything that would have body shamed her.
“He skips the dialogue when we’re taping in front of the studio audience, and the executive producer yells,
“Cut!” Dylan says, “I wouldn’t disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman,” after uttering the line. I’ll comment on something you write that’s humorous.
Cole remarks after hearing the story that he “really remembers too much of that period.”
“Shooting so many episodes of a show causes them to meld together into one massive, hazy recollection. I love Kim, but I kind of forgot the specifics. He said, “I’m happy to hear that she remembers all that fun.”
