The Money Saving Expert, a broadcaster, decried the “degrading” and “something from the 19th century” circumstances on an East Midlands Railway train between London St Pancras and Sheffield in a harsh social media post.
The Money Saving Expert, a consumer affairs columnist, expressed his indignation on social media about the jam-packed train, which he believed to be carrying roughly 500 people.
In a post viewed more than four million times on X, then known as Twitter, Mr. Lewis wrote that all standing and seat spaces were occupied by passengers who were forced to sit in train passageways.
People had to crawl over each other 100 times to get to the one functioning restroom at one end, thus I suppose there are 500 people on it.
