As a plumber attempted to solve a bathroom issue, he made an astonishing discovery.
While working as a plumber in Devon, England, 36-year-old Jonathan Betts found more than 20 bones under the bathroom floorboards of a house.
Early in January 2024, Betts told SWNS, he was working on a routine bathroom repair when he realized he needed to delve deeper into the ground beneath a 200-year-old house.

“After I removed the toilet and floor covering, I found that the subflooring below was massively rotten and discovered the joists had just been fitted onto soil,” he stated.
He went on, “I made the customers aware, who have been on [vacation], that I will need to dig out the soil to try and find some solid ground to concrete in an ore formed intel.”
Betts claimed that as he dug deeper, he noticed bones in the dirt and became anxious when he came across a jawbone with teeth.

“In the back of my mind, I knew it was an animal as the teeth didn’t look like ours, but I was still sketching out as I really did not want this job to be shut down,” he told SWNS, a British news organization.
Before finding the second half of the original jawbone, Betts eventually found another twenty bones, bottles, and marble.
In a video that has received over 1.4 million views on TikTok, the plumber claimed that the bones belonged to a pig.
