RAWALPINDI: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Tuesday that those who leave anything do so again by denying that he was breaking away from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
The politician made these remarks in response to a question at a media briefing held inside the Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court.
A number of current and former party leaders are being charged in relation to the events of May 9, 2023, when members and supporters of the Imran Khan-led PTI attacked military sites. Former PTI top whip Shireen Mazari was also present at the location.
In addition, Fawad disclosed to the media that he had gone before the court in the case involving the violent episodes on May 9 and that he was going through a “difficult time” and that the “bitterness” needed to depart.
