ISLAMABAD: A new grading scheme for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams has been released by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
Beginning with the First Annual Examinations 2026 for SSC-I/HSSC-I level and continuing through the First Annual Examinations 2027 for SSC-II/HSSC-II level, the updated grading scheme will be implemented.
According to the Federal Board, pupils who get 96% to 100% will be given an A++ (“Extraordinary”) grade, and those who receive 91% to 95% will be given an A+ (“Exceptional”).
In a similar vein, an A grade (“Outstanding”) will be awarded for grades between 86% and 90%.
