It’s not necessarily necessary to get older to be a successful writer.

Many of today’s most famous authors were not even teenagers when they released the novels that made them extremely successful, but there are plenty of teens—and even young children—who have gone on to become best-selling authors as a result of the stories they wrote.

Young writers have produced books in a variety of genres, including self-help and poetry.

Eight books that set you up for success in 2024

While some writers only write about what they see happening on the page, others build fantastical worlds that captivate readers.
Stepanek wrote poetry among his published works; he passed away in June 2004 from difficulties related to dysautonomic mitochondrial myopathy, according to the Mattie J.T. Stepanek Foundation.

His finger paintings from the ages of three to five and poetry he wrote were featured in the first of these books, which was initially released in 2001.

He used poems and finger drawings in his second piece, “Journey Through Heartsongs,” which he produced between the ages of three and ten.
