Washington, D.C. Two prominent pro-life activists spoke with Fox News Digital about their opinions for the pro-life movement’s future and the reasons they will keep fighting for life even in the wake of Dobbs.
Since autumn of 2012, March for Life president Jeanne Mancini has guided the organization.
Speaking to Fox News Digital on Friday, January 19, just before the 51st March for Life began in the nation’s capital, Mancini emphasized the significance of supporting women during their pregnancies and transforming the stigma associated with getting pregnant.

Mancini claimed that the March for Life’s 2024 theme, “With every woman, for every child,” was a reference to “getting back to the pro-life roots.”
“This is why the pro-life movement was created. This, after all, is why the march began,” she remarked.
Following the Supreme Court’s June 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, states were once again granted the authority to enact abortion laws.
According to Mancini, Fox News Digital, the March for Life is also expanding to specific states.
The Virginia March for Life in 2018 was the first state March for Life, according to her.
“We’ll be in sixteen states this year,” she declared. “We plan to be in all 50 states in the next six to seven years.”

She explained that “uniting, equipping and mobilizing pro-life Americans in the public square” is the goal of the nationwide March for Life.
The pro-life movement achieved a moral win with Dobbs, but the real work is still ahead, according to her.
