When Stephen’s companion departed the show in 2018 following a rumored falling out between the two, Pat joined the Channel 4 program.
The 75-year-old made an appearance during series 10 to 12 alongside her son, Brighton resident Stephen Lustig-Webb.
He said on Instagram: “Mummy Pat, you were a unique individual who accepted everyone for who they were, giving up your last fiver to a complete stranger, the epitome of humanity, and the center of our universe! Mom, rest in peace.”
The Channel 4 program also paid respects, posting on X.
“Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and the extended family,” it said.
“Our thoughts are with the family who have requested privacy at this sad time.”
Stephen’s Instagram comment was met with the following response from the Googleboxshow fan page: “We loved you and Pat – she only had to be on screen for one second and you knew you would laugh at loud.”
