According to the Met Department, monsoon rains are still occurring in Balochistan and are predicted to last till June 28.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has stated that a number of places, including Dera Bugti, Naseerabad, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Hub, and their surrounding territories, have been affected by the recent spell of severe rains.
The PDMA has begun rescue and relief activities in Dera Bugti as a result of the severe rains causing significant damage to the area. In order to determine the extent of the damages brought on by the continuous monsoon downpours, a thorough survey is now being conducted.
Aid supplies big enough to feed a thousand households have already been sent to Dera Bugti in response to the population’s urgent needs.
