Shortly after Usher’s main stage performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, he and his companion Jenn Goicoechea tied the knot in Las Vegas.
Usher’s mother Jonnetta Patton was one of the witnesses at the couple’s Vegas Weddings, according to their marriage certificate, which was made public on Monday.
The wedding was officiated by Rev. Ronald Joseph Polrywka, who typically dons an Elvis Presley costume.
Usher, 45, and Ms. Goicoechea, 40, have two young daughters together and have been dating since 2019.
After two years of marriage, the musician and Tameka Foster got divorced in 2009, and he was granted custody of their two sons.
After three years of marriage to his second wife and former manager, Grace Miguel, the singer filed for divorce in December of 2018.
When asked if the service took place in the drive-thru lane or in the chapel, the Usher’s representative did not answer right away.
The head of the county’s marriage license bureau and clerk for Clark County, Lynn Marie Goya, verified that the couple received a license from her office last week.
“Naturally they got married in Las Vegas,” she stated. “What better place than the Wedding Capital of the World?”
