Tuesday saw the continuation of the hush money trial for former US president Donald Trump, as his adult film star Stormy Daniels testified against him in court.
During her testimony on Tuesday, Daniels, 45, revealed graphic details of her purported 2006 sexual encounter with Trump, 77.
She claimed in the lawsuit that ten years later, Trump had paid her $130,000 to remain silent during his presidential campaign.
Daniels spoke in a largely informal and conversational style as she related explicit details from Trump’s hotel room, according to CNN.
She also gave some extremely graphic information, forcing Judge Juan Merchan to interrupt her multiple times.
As everything was going on, Trump’s attorneys contended that Daniels had unduly biased the jury and asked Judge Merchan to declarea mistrial which was denied.
However, he said that some of the details from Daniels were “better left unsaid.”
